Booking Cancellation Policy

We understand that plans can change. To keep things fair for both our guests and our small team here at Northwinds, our cancellation policy is simple and based on how far in advance you cancel, counted from your scheduled check-in date:

• 30 or more days before check-in — Full refund
• 7 to 29 days before check-in — 50% refund
• Fewer than 7 days before check-in — No refund

To cancel or modify a reservation, please contact us at: mtreankler1122@gmail.com. Your cancellation takes effect on the date and time we receive your request, so reach out as early as possible to qualify for the best refund.

Weather. The Keweenaw is a year-round destination, and snow, storms, and changing road conditions are part of the experience. Because our cabins remain open and ready in all seasons, our standard cancellation terms above apply regardless of weather. We encourage guests to plan travel with the season in mind and to allow extra time when winter conditions are in the forecast. If severe weather affects your plans, reach out to us directly—while we hold to the policy above, we’ll always do our best to work with you where we reasonably can.
